ABOUT
Welcome to my Kintsugi journey. A few years ago, I found myself at one of the lowest points in my life, struggling with depression and feeling disconnected from who I used to be. I felt broken, lost, and uncertain if I could ever feel whole again. During that dark time, I stumbled upon the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi—the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. It was in this delicate art form that I found a reflection of my own healing. Slowly, as I began to repair cracks in pottery, I saw my own fractures being filled with gold.
Kintsugi taught me that true beauty lies in embracing imperfection. Rather than hiding the brokenness, it celebrates it, transforming it into something stronger and more beautiful. This philosophy resonated deeply with me, and through it, I found a path to healing—one that allowed me to appreciate my scars as symbols of resilience, rather than signs of weakness.
This blog was born from my personal journey with Kintsugi. I want to share how the art of Kintsugi can inspire growth and healing in all aspects of life—relationships, careers, creativity, and personal development. Whether you’re new to Kintsugi or have already explored its beauty, my goal is to educate, inspire, and help others embrace their own imperfections, just as I learned to do.
Here, you’ll find information on the different Kintsugi methods, tips for applying the art in your life, stories of notable Kintsugi artists, and insights into the philosophy behind this incredible practice. My hope is that through this site, you’ll discover how Kintsugi can guide you to heal, grow, and find beauty in the broken pieces of your own life.
